Returns / Refund Policy
The following is a summary of our terms relating to refund and returns. Please also see our terms and conditions and terms of website use.
4. CANCELLATION rights
4.1 If you are contracting as a consumer and you have purchased Products other than Bespoke Products (defined in Condition 5.1 below), you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our refunds policy (set out in Condition 9 below).
4.2 To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing to the address specified in Condition 14. You must also return the Products to us as soon as reasonably practicable, and at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.
4.3 Please note that you have a statutory obligation to take reasonable care of the Products prior to cancellation. Without prejudice to the generality of the obligation to use reasonable care as referred to in Condition 4.2, examples of reasonable care include (but are not limited to):
4.3.1 Not removing the adhesive backing on any wall decals or stickers; and
4.3.2 Not applying any wall paper paste to wallpaper products,
and we reserve the right to refuse to accept the cancellation and return of any products which have not been treated with such reasonable care.
4.4 Details of your statutory right of cancellation, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are also provided in the Dispatch Confirmation.
5. Bespoke products
5.1 You will not have any right to cancel a Contract under Condition 4.1 for the supply of any of the following bespoke Products ("Bespoke Products"):
5.1.1 Wallpaper products, stickers or wall decals which are printed to size specified by you;
5.1.2 Wallpaper products, stickers or wall decals which are printed with an image or text provided by you or with an image selected by you;
5.1.3 Any other products which are designed or created to a specification provided by you.
5.2 You promise that you will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that any measurements provided for Bespoke Products are accurate.
5.3 You promise that the images and/or text that you provide to us for incorporation in a Bespoke Product are either: (i) your original work; or (ii) you have obtained all necessary consents, permissions and licences from the relevant third party owners for the inclusion of any images in the Bespoke Products. By submitting such images you confirm that such images do not infringe the rights of privacy or confidentiality, copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person or organisation and you further confirm that the images are not illegal, offensive, racist, homophobic, discriminatory, pornographic, defamatory or obscene.
6. Availability and delivery
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the Dispatch Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
7. Risk and title
7.1 The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.
7.2 Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
8 Price and payment
8.1 The price of the Products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our Website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
8.2 Product prices include VAT.
8.3 Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.
8.4 Our Website contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our Website may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our Website, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
8.5 We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.
8.6 Payment for all Products must be by credit or debit card. We accept payment with MasterCard, Visa and Solo payment cares. We will not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch your order.
9. Our refunds policy
9.1 If you return a Product to us:
9.1.1 Because you have cancelled the Contract between us within the seven working-day cooling-off period (see Condition 4.1 above), we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you gave notice of cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the Product in full, and any applicable delivery charges. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
9.1.2 For any other reason (for instance, because have notified us in accordance with Condition 20 that you do not agree to a change in these terms and conditions or in any of our policies, or because you consider that the Product is defective), we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. We will refund the price of a defective Product in full, any applicable delivery charges and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.
9.2 We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
10. Warranty
10.1 Subject to the disclaimers set out in Condition 10.2, we promise to you that any Product purchased from us through our Website will conform in all material respects with its description, be of satisfactory quality, and be reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied.
10.2 We shall have no liability under the warranty set out at Condition 10.2 to the extent that any damage or defect results from:
10.2.1 A modification or alteration of the Products by anyone other than us;
10.2.2 Your or any third party's use of the Products in a manner contrary to the instructions given to you by us;
10.2.3 Any failure to use reasonable skill and care in fitting the Products.
10.3 We recommend that you use qualified decorating professionals for the fitting of our Products.
10.4 Please note that certain stickers and wall decals may require the assistance of a professional decorator for their removal.
11. Our liability
11.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall:
11.1.1 Restrict your statutory rights (including your rights to receive a reasonable standard of service, more details about which can be obtained from your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau);
11.1.2 Exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence;
11.1.3 Exclude or limit our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
11.1.4 Exclude or limit our liability for any breach of the obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979;
11.1.5 Exclude or limit our liability for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or
11.1.6 Exclude or limit our liability for any other matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
11.2 Subject to Condition 11.1, if we fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we shall only be liable to you for the purchase price of the Products and, subject to Condition 11.3, any losses that you suffer as a result of our failure to comply (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise) which are a foreseeable consequence of such failure.
11.3 Subject to Condition 11.1, we will not be liable for losses that result from our failure to comply with these terms and conditions that fall into the following categories:
11.3.1 Loss of income or revenue;
11.3.2 Loss of business;
11.3.3 loss of profits;
11.3.4 loss of anticipated savings;
11.3.5 loss of data; or
11.3.6 waste of management or office time.
However, this Condition 11.3 will not prevent claims for loss of or damage to your tangible property that are foreseeable or any other claims for direct loss that are not excluded in Conditions 11.3.1 to 11.3.6 (inclusive).
